If you or someone you know is experiencing a life-threatening mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room. If you feel you are able, alert your RA via text or phone as to your whereabouts.
Urshan seeks to provide pastoral counsel and care to each student through an onsite counselor. Any student needing professional counseling should contact the Dean of Student Services (deanofstudents@ugst.edu) for the referral email. Students who request a referral will have the cost of their initial consultation covered by UC. The student will then be responsible for the cost of any and all visits needed beyond the initial consultation. This service is available via Skype for our distance learners.
